Frequently asked questions
Which devices can play Leak Out?
Leak Out is made for Android phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or newer. Get it on Google Play.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Leak Out plays fully offline. You only need a connection to sign in to Google Play Games and to send your scores to the leaderboard; scores won offline are sent later.
Does Leak Out have ads?
No. There are no ads, no tracking and no analytics in Leak Out.
Do I need an account?
No. You don’t create an account with us. Signing in to Google Play Games is optional: it adds achievements and puts your best scores on the leaderboard.
Why can't I pick the next pipe section?
That is the puzzle. Only the section at the bottom of the stack can be placed. Look at what’s coming and leave room for awkward pieces. If a section ends up in the wrong place, you can replace it as long as the liquid hasn’t reached it yet.
How do I earn more stars?
Make the liquid flow through more sections, use corners and crosses (a second pass through a cross is worth 50 points), and don’t leave sections the liquid never reaches: each one costs 3 points. See the rules for all the points.
How do I get on the leaderboard?
Sign in to Google Play Games in the game’s settings, then win a level. Your best score on each level is sent to the leaderboard, which shows the top 25 of every level. It is refreshed every 30 minutes, so a new score can take up to half an hour to appear.
Which name is shown on the leaderboard?
Your Google Play Games display name. You can change it in the Google Play Games app.
I found a bug or have an idea. Where can I tell you?
Use the Report a problem or Request a feature link at the bottom of every page. Both open a form on GitHub.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on your device. Finished levels, best scores and stars are kept until you reset your progress in the settings or uninstall the game.
